What Students Should Do One Day Before Exam?
The last 24 hours before NEET are very crucial. Here is simple advice for students:
- Do not study any new topic. Revise only what you already know.
- Complete your sleep. At least 6-7 hours of sleep is necessary.
- Keep your admit card, photo, and ID ready in a clear bag.

- Reach the exam center one day before to know the exact location.
A senior NEET coach from Kota advised: "The biggest mistake students make is panic. Stay calm. Read each question carefully. Do not waste time on difficult questions. Move on and come back later if time permits."
What Happens After the Exam?
After the exam is over on May 3, NTA will release the official answer key within one week. Students will get a chance to raise objections if they find any mistake in the answer key. The final result is expected to be announced in mid-June 2026.
Counseling for admission will begin in July 2026. Students who qualify will get seats in government and private medical colleges through their state counseling authorities or the MCC (Medical Counseling Committee).
